About Memento Collective
We are a collective of five working artists who meet regularly to share and discuss the progress of our work. Through doing so we have identified a number of common themes; memory, loss, re-emergence and return. These are expressed by each of us through a variety of concepts and techniques. Our practices include drawing, painting and printmaking; sculpture; photography and film;
documentation, installation and live art.
Our Collective Direction
We are a diverse group of artists, in terms of background, age and practice. Since coming together to discuss our work we have enjoyed finding common themes and interests and have inspired each other enormously. We all feel that this is a very important time for us to develop our art practices and we are supporting each other to do that.
Exhibiting
Our recent exhibition "Death, Dreams & Desire" took place in September 2022. The exhibition was inspired by the rich and diverse works of Sigmund Freud and took place in Peckham, London. Have a look at our instagram page for photos of the exhibition.
